BIO: I was born in Tucson Arizona to the two best parents ever in 1983. Shortly after I started my career as a professional artist. By the seasoned age of 3 I was already creating masterpieces worthy of that one place in Paris that sounds like a restroom. Sadly I stumbled over my tinker toys and bumped my head, giving me permanent brain damage. The result of which is I lost my super powers and insanely awesome artistic abilities. Now 20 years later I'm still trying to regain the status I had as a toddler... I've regained the ability to warm up toaster pastries with my mind powers, but I can't seem to walk through walls yet, and my artwork is coming back too!

But seriously I first learned to draw from watching my dad. The man is awesome, I just wish he'd get back into drawing. One of my college professors said he had a natural gift, that his style couldn't be taught but had to be learned from personal practice. Anyway when I was little I would draw as all little kids do. You know, naked women leaning back with nice perky tits (true story in second grade). But like most people I hit a period of time where I fell out of Drawing. I think it was piccasso that said every child is an artist, the trick is to keep that passion when they become adults. Or something like that. In 8th grade I got a teacher who truly brought me back into my art with a love for it. Mr. Disney (no relation) was hands down the BEST art teacher I have EVER had. He could get kids with no artistic ability to paint a landscape that looked better than most of the seniors in my highschool could do.
After that I hit highschool and got a new mentor. I met Duc, AKA Justin Wiley. The guy is still my best friend, business partner and all around bud. He introduced me to the idea's of cutting my hair, listening to music that wasn't older than I was, martial arts and comic book art. It was he who gave me the Nickname Rabid Iga. Rabid for my antics that usually ended in blood, and Iga (name of a ninja clan) for my unintentional knack for disappearing into everyone's blind spot, seeming to 'disappear.' It was this same year that I met my wife; Lesley Ruiz (Now Herron). We met in an RPG chatroom on AOL, she had the screen name TygerDevil (hence the nickname Tyg). We became friends and now 8 years later we've been married for 2 years. She still draws better than I do too!
I graduated High school in 2001 when I was 17, then got my Associates of Art in 2002 at the age of 18. It was that year that I started up Cheap Shots. The original sight was the same URL as this one, which I am SO glad I was able to get back! I had a hand full of fans, some I didn't know and some I did. Right now my 2 biggest fans are my Father who had all of his coworkers looking at my site and then constantly badgered me about starting my comic up again. And Jessica Edstrom AKA Neko who even drew one of my comics and is my fan club of 1!
So what does the future hold for me? Hmmm.... Breakfast!
